Hello gorgeous! My name is Arianne and I am a freelance makeup artist and beauty blogger from Toronto, Canada.  I am the founder of Glitter Geek (www.glittergeek.ca), a beauty blog with product reviews and makeup looks. When I started my beauty blog several years ago, I was fortunate to meet so many passionate makeup artists and beauty junkies like me. In 2011, I decided to take courses and get my feet wet in the world of makeup artistry. I love how clients’ faces light up after the “big reveal” — they stand taller with their chin up and smile. A lot. That’s what I love about doing makeup.

My philosophy with makeup is simple: don’t be afraid to play! Makeup should be fun — get creative; find new uses for a product; don’t take it seriously. So what if you absolutely hate the makeup? There’s a makeup removing wipe for that.

When I’m not doing makeup, my time is usually spent cuddling my cat Scherbatsky. I’m a total crazy cat lady!
